Where are you based? Do you travel?

I offer both local to Cornwall and destination sessions.I am based in St Austell, Cornwall and photograph families, couples and businesses across Cornwall, including Newquay, Falmouth, Truro, Padstow and surrounding areas. I'm happy to travel for sessions and can discuss locations when you enquire. 
If you have a specific location in mind, just let me know and I’ll plan the details with you. There is an extra charge for travel (and potential accommodation) further than 15 miles from my base in St Austell.

What is your photography style?

My photography is relaxed and authentic using natural light. I focus on genuine connection, movement and the little moments that happen naturally rather than heavily posed or overly staged photographs.Whether that's documenting this season of life, your growing family, milestone moments or showing the person behind the business, the aim is to create imagery that feels genuine and reflects who you are.

Do you offer video and drone videography?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Short-form video can be incorporated into selected brand photography sessions.I also offer drone photography/videography in Cornwall and Devon where appropriate with weather, location and local permits for couples, weddings and brand shoots.

Do you pose people?

Accepted Answer

Not in the traditional sense! I'll give you gentle prompts and direction when you need it, but I don't want you spending your session worrying about where to put your hands.I'll encourage you to interact, move, talk and enjoy being together, allowing the genuine moments to happen naturally.

Do you photograph newborns at home?

Accepted Answer

Yes. My newborn photography is relaxed, lifestyle-led and usually takes place in your home. There's no need for a perfectly styled house. We'll simply find the best pockets of natural light and use the spaces that work for you and your baby. I also bring a small selection of neutral blankets and cushions to create a soft, cosy setting where needed.

What happens if my baby needs feeding or changing?

Accepted Answer

That's completely fine... Your baby sets the pace. Newborn sessions aren't rushed, so there is plenty of time for feeding, changing, cuddles and settling. These moments are part of your story too.

Can siblings and pets be included?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! Your session is about your whole family, so siblings, partners and pets are welcome where appropriate.

Question 8

Do you photograph couples and weddings?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You also don't need a special occasion to have photographs taken together. Couple sessions can be about an engagement, wedding, anniversary, proposal, holiday in Cornwall or simply documenting this chapter of your relationship.If you're after surprise proposal photography, I'll work with you beforehand to plan the location, timing and where I'll position myself discreetly so I can catch the moment without taking it over!

Do you photograph brands as well as families and couples?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Alongside lifestyle photography, I work with businesses across Cornwall to create natural brand photography, team imagery, behind-the-scenes content, product photography and short-form video for websites, social media and marketing.

Can brand photography be booked regularly?

Accepted Answer

You can, and it’s a great idea if you want consistent imagery year round!
I offer ongoing quarterly branding and business photography for anyone who wants fresh, seasonal imagery without the stress of starting from scratch each time.

Question 11

Where do sessions take place?

Accepted Answer

That depends on what you're booking. Family, maternity and couples sessions can take place outdoors or at an indoor location somewhere (like your home or cafe), whilst a newborn session is usually photographed in the comfort of your own home.Brand photography can take place at your workplace, studio, shop or other locations that suit your brand.

What should we wear?

I generally recommend neutral, natural colours, soft textures and comfortable clothing that allows you to move easily. But the most important thing is that you feel like yourself. I'll send you a style guide with suggestions and inspiration before your session.

Question 13

How long does it take to get my photos?

Accepted Answer

You will receive a selection of carefully edited images within 2-3 weeks. Rush delivery of images is also available for an additional cost.

Question 14

How will I receive my images?

Accepted Answer

You’ll get access to a private online gallery where you can download your images. Your photos are then ready for printing, sharing, your website or social media. I also always appreciate being tagged in any images posted online!
