What she needed
She struggled to show her personality through brand photography as it felt like a lot of laptop shots on her own. She needed updated brand shots as she has pivoted in her business from tech industry to working with women in business. She reached out to me, a woman behind the lens because she felt more confident asking the awk questions: can you see my nipples - should i add more lipstick?
Working with Fi was one of the best days I’ve had in my business. She took the lead, made sure we got all the shots that were outlined on my pinterest board and she was totally confident in giving me direction. There was no awkwardness just really good fun and the shots that came out of it blew me away because they were totally natural. Also she retouched the hell out of my inevitable pre-photoshoot spots!’

How we worked together
She specifically wanted natural shots where she was seen working with another woman as this provides the context that she’s solely for female founders. Also some behind the scenes and textural images to add personality without just focusing on her face.
