Becky of the Quirky Assistant is a virtual assistant and brand strategist based in Cornwall, supporting businesses nationwide.
What she needed
When Becky reached out, she already knew the power of imagery. She had professional images from a different time in her life that were too corporate and both her body and style had evolved! Her selfies didn't really reflect the brand she was building and needed something that aligned better with The Quirky Assistant, but that also allowed Becky to shine through too!
Becky was after a versatile gallery she could use across her website and social media, balancing a professional look with her fun, approachable personality that makes her business unique!
The onboarding process was brilliant, helping both me & Fi to dive deeper into the type of imagery that would suit The Quirky Assistant. Sadly, I was really unwell on the day our shoot was scheduled, and the weather was awful too. But, Fi was incredibly understanding and flexible, and we quickly set a new date. I really appreciated her approach here because I felt SO guilty letting her down.
When we finally got together she immediately made me feel totally at ease, like a friend I had known for years. She went above and beyond to get the shots she knew would suit me and my brand, even clambering down rocks to stand in a stream for the angles! I am absolutely thrilled with my final gallery and can't wait to implement the images on my website and socials!! Thank you so much Fi!

How we worked together
Rather than creating stiff corporate headshots, we planned a session that reflected who Becky actually is.
We photographed across a variety of locations to create a well-rounded content library, from relaxed outdoor portraits full of movement to authentic working shots in a local cafe and close up detail of her client interactions.
The goal was to create images that felt natural, confident and relatable while giving plenty of variety for her website, social media and future marketing.
The results
Instead of relying on a handful of photos, she now has a gallery that tells the story of her business; professional, playful and full of personality!
